Practicing Membership
For approximately 22 cents a day, you have access to all the benefits of the Ontario Social Service Worker Association and join our one voice for the profession of social service work, together.
Membership Eligibility:
• Are you a registrant with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) with a general certificate of registration (Social Service Worker) – entitled to practice and in good standing

Non-Practicing Membership

Membership Eligibility:
• Are you a graduate from an Ontario College Diploma in social service work (or equivalent) at a College of Applied Arts & Technology (or equivalent) as approved by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- However, you are not registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) then you are considered not practicing the profession of social service work currently, even if you are employed, or not employed.

Student Membership

Membership Eligibility:
• Are you currently a student enrolled in an Ontario College Diploma in social service work (or equivalent) at a College of Applied Arts & Technology (or equivalent) as approved by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
• Students may be in any year, or status of the program, including students enrolled in part-time, full-time, or otherwise study in their social service work diploma program.

Agency Ambasador Membership
For approximately 45 cents a day, your agency and one individual (account holder) will have access to all the benefits of the Ontario Social Service Worker Association and join our one voice for the profession of social service work, together. In addition, all eligible employees for membership, employed by your agency will receive a 25% membership discount with the Ontario Social Service Worker Association on an annual basis as long as the agency continues to maintain their agency ambassador membership.
Membership Eligibility:
• Are you an agency or organization that employs or has interest in social service workers?
• The account holder of the agency ambassador membership must also meet all the eligibility of practicing membership.

College Ambassador Membership
For approximately $2.19 a day, your College of Applied Arts & Technology (CAAT), or equivalent, educational institution, offering a social service work program, or equivalent and the program coordinator will have access to all the benefits of the Ontario Social Service Worker Association. In addition, all eligible students enrolled will be provided a free student membership for the calendar year with the association. The student’s membership can be renewed for free on an annual basis, as long as the college continues to maintain their membership and the student remains eligible for student membership.
Membership Eligibility:
• You a College of Applied Arts & Technology, or equivalent that delivers a social service work program (or equivalent) as approved by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
• The account holder must be the program coordinator of the program.
